Build
Just like you would expect from a company named “Players”, these pool cues are built with YOU in mind. Available in a wide variety of different styles, Players cues offer something for everybody!
Style
Players cues are solid in their construction and in their performance. This cue is a major step up from the house-cues you’re probably getting sick of using.
Try It
If you’ve never tried a Players cue, we’ve got you covered with the Select Billiards Video Review of the HXT64 from every angle. It’s almost like trying it out for yourself!
Build Quality:
This cue has a rubber butt cap with black, white, and silver diamonds in the butt. The grip features Players’ Multi-Zone Grip Technology which gives you a variety of grip choices. The forearm is black wood and the inlay has alternating black, white, and silver points.
The joint is a 5/16 x 18. This shaft features a 1″ low deflection ferrule. The tip is a Kamui Black Soft.
How It Actually Plays:
HXT Players Shaft (13mm)
- Hitting the ball with a soft hit, the ball hit the far rail at right around the 1.75″ mark.
- Hitting the ball with medium hit, the ball hit the far rail at right around the 2.5″ mark.
- Hitting the ball with a firm hit, the ball hit the far rail right about the 2.75″ mark.
Final Thoughts:
The rubber handle feels nice in your hand. I like the pop that you get from the black, white, and silver design. It just looks cool.
