Build Quality:
This cue is made from Birdseye Maple. The butt sleeve features twelve Recon Ebony and Turquoise points in it. The handle and forearm see this same inlay as well. The inlays all combine for a beautiful effect when the cue is actually in play. This is a no-wrap cue which sticks to your hand quite well.
The joint is a 3/8 – 10 pin. The cue comes standard with a G-Core shaft which is a 13mm in diameter. The joint does take a bit longer to put together but that provides a good feel and the wood-to-wood joint helps even more.The installed tip is a Tiger Everest.
How It Actually Plays:
- G-Core Shaft (13 mm)
- Hitting the ball with a slow hit, the ball hit the far rail at about 1.5″ mark.
- Hitting the ball with a medium hit, the ball hit the far rail at the 2″ mark.
- Hitting the ball with a firm hit, the ball hit the far rail at about the 3″ mark.
Final Thoughts:
This cue is gorgeous. The no-wrap combined with the inlays that run all the way to the joint make this cue quite a looker. It plays exceptionally well and you can’t go wrong with this cue.
