Build Quality:

This cue features a rubber butt cap and a Curly Maple forearm. This is a no-wrap cue, with a beautiful red wine-colored stain in the forearm. Four beautiful, natural points with a black outline continue up to the joint.

This cue features a Piloted Pechauer Speed Joint for quick setup and break down. The shaft is 13 mm with a pro taper and a Pechauer Gold Layered Medium tip.

How It Actually Plays:

  • Pechauer Classic (13mm)
    • Hitting the ball with soft English, the ball hit the far rail at about the 1 .5″ inch mark.
    • Hitting the ball with medium English, the ball hit the far rail at the 2″ mark.
    • Hitting the ball with a firm English, the ball hit the far rail at the 2.5″ mark.

Final Thoughts:

At first glance, this cue appears to be just a house cue with a fancy red stain. Getting closer, you can see the finer details put into it and it’s really quite beautiful. Plus, it plays very nicely as well.
