Playability
The Lucasi brand of cues play very smooth, thanks in part to their Zero-Flexpoint technology shafts which feature low deflection relative to their price point. If this is going to be your first “real” pool cue, you’re in for a treat.

Build Quality:
This cue has a black butt plate and features Nickel silver rings sandwiching a two turquoise rings. The handle has a black Maple wood construction which serves to draw attention to the aforementioned turquoise rings.
The handle is a black Irish Linen wrap and the forearm features two more of the Nickel silver rings sandwiching turquoise rings. The joint is a colored back just like the handle which gives the cue a nearly seamless transition from handle to shaft. The cue features a Uni-Loc pin.
This cue comes standard with Lucasi’s Classic shaft which is a 13mm diameter. This shaft provides a relatively low amount of deflection. The tip is an Everest tip.
How It Actually Plays:

Lucasi Clasic Shaft(13mm)
- Hitting the ball with a soft hit, the ball hit the far rail at right around the 1.5″ mark.
- Hitting the ball with medium hit, the ball hit the far rail at right around the 2″ mark.
- Hitting the ball with a firm hit, the ball hit the far rail right about the 3″ mark.
Final Thoughts:
This is a fairly basic looking cue. The turquoise rings really make it pop, especially against the all black construction of the handle. This is a lower priced cue but it plays a lot like it’s higher-priced brothers.
