Voodoo cues are priced well and preform nicely. They offer a reliable play style with a laser-etched inlay that looks great. If you like spiders, blood, and skulls, Voodoos are perfect for you.
This is a quality pool cue at a reasonable price. It’s not likely to play like a high-end Predator but it will hit the ball well and let you keep your focus on the game, where it belongs.
If you’ve never had the chance to actually try an Voodoo cue, we’ve got you covered with the Select Billiards Video Review of the VOD20. It’s the next best thing to trying it out for yourself!
Select Billiards Video Review:
This cue has a Red stained maple finish on the Butt Sleeve with laser-etched spider webs. The wrap is a black leather which grips to your hand nicely. The forearm sees the return of that Red maple finish. The forearm also features laser-etched spiderwebs and 8’s.
The cue has a stainless steel collar, with a 5/16 18 pin with a standard Maple shaft. The installed tip is a Le Pro.
How It Actually Plays:
Standard Voodoo Shaft(13mm)
- Hitting the ball with a slow hit, the ball hit the far rail between the 1.5″ and 2″ marks
- Hitting the ball with a medium hit, the ball hit the far rail a little over the 2″ mark.
- Hitting the ball with a firm hit, the ball hit the far rail between 2.5″ and 3″ marks
The cherry-stained Maple on this cue looks really good. Combine that with the branding and the white accent paint and you’ve got a very eye-catching cue.
