Build
Predator says their Vantage Shaft is “Designed and developed for players seeking increased shaft stiffness and velocity”. Once you get this shaft on your cue, you’ll see how incredibly successful Predator was.
Accuracy
This shaft has deflection characteristics like no other cue currently on the market. It actually has roughly the same deflection whether you hit the cue soft, medium, or firm. This is unprecedented and makes the shaft supremely enjoyable to shoot with.
Try It
If you’ve never tried a Predator shaft, we’ve got you covered with our video review and photos of the Predator Vantage shaft from every angle. It’s almost like trying it out for yourself!
Build Quality:
This shaft is constructed using Predator’s iMatch 10-piece splice construction and special V-Tek ferrule construction.
The Vantage shaft is available with wither a Radial or Uni-Loc pin. It comes standard with a Predator Victory Tip
How It Actually Plays:
Vantage Shaft (12.9mm)
- Hitting the ball with a soft hit, the ball hit the far rail at about the 1.5″ mark.
- Hitting the ball with medium hit, the ball hit the far rail at about the 1.5″ mark.
- Hitting the ball with a firm hit, the ball hit the far rail at right around the 2″ mark.
Final Thoughts:
The Predator Vantage shaft is very unique because it has nearly the same deflection no matter how hard you hit it! This is a huge benefit because it means you have to do far less adjustment when you’re setting up your shot. And being a Predator shaft means that it’s extremely well constructed. I can summarize this cue with one sentence: you will love this shaft!
