Select Billiards’ Video Review:
This cue features a rubber butt cap, with six Crimson points at the top and bottom and a metallic spider in the middle. This is a no-wrap cue and you can see the carbon-fiber-style material throughout.
The cue incorporates a Venom 2 Shaft with Poison’s Uni-Loc Bullet Joint system which makes it very easy to break down and put back together. The threads are recessed inside the joint and both the shaft and butt feature unique serial numbers. All Poison Black Widow cues come with a Venom 2 shaft which has a 13mm diameter. A Sarin tip is installed standard.
How It Actually Plays:
- Venom 2 Shaft (13 mm)
- With a soft hit, the ball hit the far rail at just over the 1 inch mark.
- With a medium hit, the ball hit the far rail at the 1.75 inch mark.
- With a firm hit, the ball hit the far rail right at the 2 inch mark.
This is a great looking cue. The carbon fiber really stands out and looks flashy. This cue plays phenomenally and it’s a solid choice for anybody.
