Build Quality:
This cue has Nickel checkered rings in the butt with a Birdseye Maple buttsleve. The handle is all Cocobolo which is simply beautiful. The birdseye maple continues on into the forearm for a wonderful combination of light and dark wood tones.
This cue features a 5/16-14 quick release joint for quick setup and break down. The shaft is a Pechauer Classic 13mm shaft and the tip is a Tiger-Emerald.
How It Actually Plays:
- Pechauer Classic (13mm)
- Hitting the ball with soft English, the ball hit the far rail at about the 1 .5″ inch mark.
- Hitting the ball with medium English, the ball hit the far rail at the 2″ mark.
- Hitting the ball with a firm English, the ball hit the far rail at the 2.5″ mark.
Final Thoughts:
This is a great cue and quite beautiful. There aren’t too many inlays or designs, but the contrasting woods really serve to make this cue a looker. As far as performance, it’s definitely a solid cue.
