McDermott G607

Construction

McDermott cues look like art pieces and they play wonderfully. By incorporating North American Hard Rock maple, McDermott is able to produce some of the lowest deflection shafts available.

Craft

McDermott cues are the result of over 35 years of pool cue making experience.  These cues are made in America by craftsmen who all take great pride in their work and it certainly shows.

How It Actually Plays:

  • G-Core Shaft (13 mm)
    • Hitting the ball with a slow hit, the ball hit the far rail at about 1.5″ mark.
    • Hitting the ball with a medium hit, the ball hit the far rail at the 2″ mark.
    • Hitting the ball with a firm hit, the ball hit the far rail at about the 3″ mark.

Final Thoughts:

This is a great playing cue by McDermott. It has a lot of turquoise in it, so if you’re a fan of that Southwestern look, this may just be the cue for you.
