Product Quality:
The Bowtie Tip Pick and Shaper is a very well-designed tool. It’s made from solid aircraft-grade aluminum which leaves it feeling lightweight yet sturdy. The tool itself fits well in your pocket or the side pocket of your pool cue case. The device has a coarse sand-paper-like coating on the inside of both it’s “Scuff” and “Shape” ends. This coating is very resilient and will endure years of constant usage. Unscrewing the tool in the middle reveals the tip pick itself. These are a series of small metal spikes that are used to press deep into the cue tip to create small holes.
How It Actually Works:
The Bowtie Tip Pick and Shaper works, period. That’s all there is to it. If you need to shape your tip or preform general cue maintenance, this is absolutely the best tool to use. Provided you use it correctly, the tool will scuff, shape and pick your cue tip with wonderful consistency.
