As you would expect from a company like Predator, these tips are superbly constructed. They’re made from the finest quality leather using an 8-layer design that allows the tip to hold it’s shape longer than standard tips. Better still, Predator’s unique construction techniques maintain optimum compression for the entire life of the tip. These tips are a even designed in a striking yellow color which helps you to better see your tip in the low light of a pool hall.
It might seem like the Victory Tip is “over-engineered” but considering that your cue tip is the last piece standing between you and making your shot, you definitely want the best tip possible. Predator Victory Tips fit the bill (or shaft, as the case may be).
How It Actually Plays:
As you can see in the video, I took a few different shots using the Predator Victory Cue Tip on my cue. Using a draw shot and hitting a bit harder than medium, you can see how far the cue ball without right or left spin. It was just straight draw on this 9′ table. This tip draws very well. Similarly, for top English shots, you can see an actual example of how well this tip bites the cue ball. It’s just one less thing you have to worry about when you play; you know your tip will be performing flawlessly.
Final Thoughts:
These tips are your best value for the money. If you’ve only ever played with a standard piece of leather, you owe it to yourself to try the Victory on for size and see how it can improve your game.
