Predator Air II Jump Cue

Predator Air II Jump Cue

Legend

After years of being off-the-market, the Predator Air has made a comeback! This is the follow-up to one of the most popular jump cues ever produced!

Jumping

A great thing about the Predator Air is that it’s a three-piece cue. That means you can adjust the length to match whatever jump shot you need to make.

Try It

If  you’ve never had the chance to actually try a Predator Air 2 cue,  we’ve got you covered with our Hands-On Video Review and photos of the Predator Air 2 from every angle.

Build Quality:

This cue features a matte black finish. It has two joints, the rear joint being a Uni-Loc quick release. The main joint in the middle is a mini radial pin. The joint itself is a carbon fiber type and the tip is a phenolic.

How It Actually Plays:

There are three things to look for when testing out a jump cue. First, we want to see how it reacts to a jump shot with an American grip that has an approximate two-ball space between the cue ball and the ball to be jumped over (the blocker ball). This cue handles that task easily and with incredible accuracy.
The next test is to use that same American grip but the space between the cue ball and the blocker ball is now three ball-lengths. Once again, the Predator Air 2 makes this shot with ease.

The final test is a much closer jump shot, this time with a European grip (also known as The Dart Grip). The ability to remove the back section of the Predator Air 2 offers a shorter size to make the Dart Grip really maneuverable and easy to handle with these closer shots.

Closing Thoughts:

This is a perfect jump cue. If you’re in the market for a jump cue and you want the best one available, the Predator Air 2 is your cue.
