Select Billiards’ Video Review:
Build Quality:
This cue is a three piece which means it comes apart at two different sections. The rubber grip is a GTX Signature and it comes in a Black / White combination. (Black / Red also available.) The cue’s finish is a matte black with a mini radial joint. The shaft is a Venom and the tip is phenolic.
How It Actually Plays:
This cue is designed to do two specific tasks on the pool table: jump balls and break balls. When using the first two sections of the cue, you’ve essentially got a Poison Jump Cue, much like the VX JMP. This allows you to make tricky shots that would otherwise be impossible unless you jumped. As you can see in the video, with a proper technique, you can make excellent jump shots every time.
